UV coatings<\/strong><\/a> can be very harmful to skin and eyes if proper care is not taken by applicators. For this, a few simple precautions must be followed in order to ensure safe usage of UV curable materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Long exposure of UV curable products to skin\/eyes can cause hypersensitivity and should be avoided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Most ingredients of UV coatings pre-cure are harmful to the environment and proper instructions towards disposal should be followed as per product MSDS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Always wear protective gloves and clothing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Protective skin cream may be used prior to the use of these products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Clothes soaked in UV products must be immediately removed and avoid any further contact with skin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. If there is skin contact of the product, it must be cleansed immediately with soap and water. Do not use any solvent-based cleaners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. UV curable products must be stored under cool storage conditions away from any direct sources of light.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Coating systems should be cleaned with proper cleaning systems (UV Wash, etc.) and hot water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Clothes or other material that have come in contact with UV curable products must not be disposed off with regular waste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. UV curable products should never be disposed off with regular water or sewage systems, as they are very harmful in water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
